My name is Sonisha Paul. I am a juice enthusiast with the expertise and unique ability in making healthy gourmet juices taste great. Since graduating from the Business Administration- Marketing program a few years ago, I founded my own holistic company called Juice Wealthy. In the near future, I will launch my first Juice Wealthy facility where I would host workshops for children and families and as well provide healthy juices, smoothies and nutritious meals to its potential customers. My end goal is to teach individuals about the importance of nutrition and the role it plays in our everyday lives. Currently I make cold-pressed juices, where no heat is ever transferred to the produce or juices so in that way all the micro-nutrients are retained.
I am currently enrolled in the Culinary Management-Nutrition program at George Brown College as a starting point because I want to expand my knowledge in the nutrition field. I love the idea of learning especially from industry leaders with experiment, expertise and who are also passionate about teaching their students.
Although there are many topics that got my attention in this program so far, the one topic in nutrition that interests me the most is this course. I am intrigued by anything nutrition related, it is my deepest passion for example, learning the difference between macro-nutrient and micro-nutrients, different kinds of essential vitamins and as well calculating calories. I would like to learn more about food labeling and the criteria and compliance.
In 5 years, my company Juice Wealthy will launch it's first brick and mortar location. By then I will complete the nutrition management post-graduation program and eventually begin my studies at university in dietetics. We will provide consulting and workshops with the main focus in providing the best tasting nutrient-dense foods to individuals who are looking for longevity through health and nutrition.
The way health is shifting and more people are doing their own research, I believe that if individuals could afford a personal chef for the sake of nutrition, they absolutely would. Individuals are becoming even more health conscious now than they have been in recent years. With movies like What The Health, many people are opening their eyes and becoming more aware about what they put into their bodies. Nutrition is playing a huge role now and will continue to expand in the near future. We will eventually change the way that we all view and consume food. More and more individual are switching to a more plant-based or vegan diet compared to before where diary and meat products took a large piece of the pie in the food industry. A very large percentage of individuals are striving to eat healthier by any means necessary.
Comparing a creditable website with a non-creditable; a credible website are usually backed up by credentials. For example if a blog was written by a Doctor of Medicine, "MD"will be located beside the author's name. Overall the tone of the website will be in the tone of factual rather than just basic opinion, supported by proper reference and citation. The overall appearance and aesthetics of the blog can also indicated it's credibility. However, all of these can also be very true for a website isn't as credible. In cases like these, it's best to use your own judgement and discretions.
