Before I get into the recipe, I wanted to share a tip about juicing. Although there are no hardcore rules out there for individuals especially those who are new to the concept we must make sure of this rule. That is when juicing make sure that you are juicing organic. Yes I know organic is expensive but so is medical bills and being sick.
Why should you juice organic? Well most fruits and vegetables are sprayed with harmful chemicals which can be processed through your juicer and because juices are entered into the blood stream at a rapid paste so are the harmful pesticides.
Following the Environment Working Group (EWG) Dirty Dozen and Clean 15 is an excellent starting point which explains to you what produce has the highest level of pesticides and the lowest. For example grapefruit has a low count of pesticide which is why it's the only ingredient in this recipe that is non-organic.
