It is important to make sure that who-ever is handling your juices have knowledge on how to do so. Make sure that they have the proper Food-Handling and food safety education and training to prevent any hazards and complications.
Acccording to CFIA (Canada Food Inspection Agency) unpasteurized juices can be contaminated with viruses and harmful bacteria such as Salmonella, E. coli, and Cryptosporidium parasites. Unpasteurized juices should not be consumed by the following at-risk groups: children, older adults, pregnant women and people with weakened immune systems.
Unpasteurized juices are fresh, nutritious, delicious and retains most of the live enzymes, phyto-chemicals and micro-nutrients that are great for your body while preventing inflammation and other disorders. As a consumer, it is vital to be informed.
